Memorial Thicket Project Update
After Brenda Holden reached out to the City, the Project Manager sent the following update this evening: "The project is at 35% complete since mobilizing on June 6th. There was a slight set-back with locating some of the covered manholes week one of the project. I have highlighted in yellow on the project schedule the point repairs, obstruction removals in the sewer line, and CIPP that has been completed. The Contractor will revise the schedule at the end of the month should the project need to be extended. I will inform you of any changes that may exceed in the schedule past the June 29th deadline. A follow up progress report on completed lines will be sent on June 23rd. Please call or email me with any further questions or concerns you may have. Thank you, Felicia Wallace Project Manager Houston Water | Wastewater Operations 832.395.6172 | Cell 832.374.3331" It appears from the attached that dates have not been updated, only what has been completed.
Coming to Your Street!
This continuation of this project will affect most streets in our neighborhood. Most of the manholes are located in our front yards. For a few, the locations are in our backyards. Below is a map of the streets to be worked on. You can click on the button below to see where the sanitary sewer lines run in our neighborhood (the circles represent manholes). The Senior Inspector Joe Williams should be onsite daily to ensure the work is going as scheduled. If you have questions, please reach out to him directly or Felicia Wallace.

The Second Shift that was Hired to Keep on Schedule
