Eldridge at Memorial Construction
The issue at the intersection continues to be the left turn only lane on southbound Eldridge. Many motorists either go straight out of that lane or jump into the next lane at the last minute. The City is acutely aware of the issue, which could easily be resolved, but has refused to make any changes.
In just the past month, we have had reports of four traffic accidents and a road rage incident on Eldridge in the construction area.
Now the completion date for the project has been stretched out to the first quarter of 2026. February 2026 is what we heard today as the estimate.
