Trash Service
​Pickup days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Recycling is on Tuesdays.
If your regular trash or recycling pickup day falls on any of the following holidays, service will be postponed until your next regularly scheduled pickup day.
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
Memorial Thicketâ„ residents are to follow the same guidelines, which are contained in our MTHA DCCRs, the Memorial Thicketâ„ Information Guide and our contract with Texas Pride.
Trash Collection
Per our contract with Texas Pride, we pay for trash pick-up service at your backdoor/garage. Trash cans should NOT be placed at the curb or street. Trash cans should remain by your house or garage.
Recycling Collection
Recycling is also a backdoor/garage service. On pick-up day, recycling should be visible from the street but should NOT be placed at the curb or street.
Yard Waste Collection
Yard waste is curbside pick-up. Please ensure that all yard clippings and leaves are bagged and placed at the curb NO EARLIER than the evening before pick-up, and not before.

What's recyclable?

Paper Items: writing paper, magazines, newspaper, circulars, telephone books, office paper, etc. No dark colored or decorative folders, cards, or envelopes. No plastic bags or foil packaging.

Where can I recycle?
All recyling materials also can be taken to Westpark Consumer Recycling Center at 5900 Westpark.
A new location by the City of Houston for electronics recycling is in Spring Branch.
