Yard of the month belongs to Teresa Caraway at 15511 Old Stone Trail. She recently remodeled the front of the house to expand and 'open up' the porch and entry. Teresa has two majestic crepe myrtle trees framing the steps and short pillars. The shallow dishes are filled with permanent boxwood plants with seasonal plants added for color. The yard is segmented with borders of tall mondo grass. Azaleas provide an additional pop of color. Teresa has added door decorations and chair cushions with pink cowboy boots to celebrate the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
When Teresa answered the door, she was entertaining her 3 and 6 year old granddaughters who were in their Easter dresses for the arrival of the Memorial Thicket Bunny. They made a perfect addition to the spring theme of the yard. The deep green grass with the style of the home conveys a sense of calm and hospitality.
