HAPPY NEW YEAR MEMORIAL THICKET HOMEOWNERS


As we begin 2026, we have a lot to be thankful for regarding where we live.  We have a secure neighborhood with good neighbors and appreciating home values.  Your HOA Board of Directors are committed to help maintain and improve our neighborhood.


We had a great turnout of residents (both in person and via proxy) for the MTHA Annual Meeting that was held at Ninfa's last month.  It was a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and address issues relating to our neighborhood.

We are working to update our Memorial Thicket Information Guide and Residents Directory for 2026.  If you are new to the neighborhood or have made changes to your contact information, please complete the Resident Information Sheet (available at the Guardhouse) no later than January 31, 2026 so the guards can have the most current contact information to reach you in case of an emergency.


Our 2026 Annual Assessment is $2,200 and will be due by January 31, 2026.  If your dues payment is not received by January 31, 2026, you will be assessed a $25 fee per month until your payment is made.  You can deliver or mail your payment to the MTHA Guardhouse at 702 Plainwood Dr, Houston, TX 77079 or ZELLE payment to MTHABoardtreasurer@gmail.com.  Please contact the treasurer, Susan Sanchez, if you have any questions regarding your Annual Assessment.


Our MTHA Monthly Meeting will be January 14, 2026 at 7pm.  It will be at Ray Schmidt's home at 735 Windbreak Trail.  We will cover the following items:


Architectural Control Committee Reports

November & December Minutes Approval

DCCRs (Deed Restrictions) and Policy Compliance

Old Business

Director Reports

New Business
