Trash Schedule Update & Guidelines
Greetings Neighbors (Once Again),
Unfortunately, I have to write to you again about trash pickup. Texas Pride did pick up our trash today, but not nearly all of it. We talked again this morning with Texas Pride about this issue and are currently awaiting a call back from the owner for more specifics. Texas Pride's website currently states, "A maximum of 3 bags of yard waste and recycle collection will resume the week of July 15th. No bundled branches will be collected. Larger volumes of storm debris are the responsibility of the County or City." Texas Pride's website is the quickest way to find out what trash pickup status is.
As noted on page 21 of MTHA's 2024 Information Guide, "Trimmed, small tree branches should be cut into four-foot lengths and, if not placed in trash cans, tied into small bundles and also placed at the curb." Texas Pride is not required to pick up large limbs and untied small tree branches.
If you have large limbs and tree trunks from Beryl, please contact 311 for the City to pick that up. Not sure, however, the timing.
As always, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
